He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry John and Nellie Mae Behnken (Steele); his wife Betty Jean Bixby; his son David Behnken (Gloria); his former wife Gloria Matheny; his sister Norma Jean Ohlau; his daughter-in-law Leah Behnken (Mueller); and his brothers-in-law, Elmer Ohlau, Maurice Bixby and Leonard Bixby.
He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Gaetz (Behnken) of Percy; his stepchildren, Keith Parks (Angie James) of DeSoto, Kenny Parks of Ballwin, MO and Melody DeCollo (Todd) of Oceanside, CA; his grandchildren, Alex Behnken (Kaitlin), Joel Behnken, Cameron Gaetz, Levi Gaetz, Madison Gaetz, Brandon Parks and Dominick DeCollo; his great grandchildren, Blake Behnken, Ariana Gaetz, Ezra Canady and Aiden Parks; his nephew Greg Newbold (Tina) of Creal Springs; and his nieces, Kathy Earl (Steve) of Marion, Carolyn Bixby of O'Fallon, Ann Wolter (Alan) of Sedona, AZ and Mary Liefer of Red Bud.
