She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Bill" and Mary E. Matheney; her sister Patricia Heintz; and her brothers-in-law, Bobby Walker, Paul Hayes and John Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Galeski Steeleville; her children, Maria C., Jason (Becky) and Marc Galeski Olathe; her sister Holly (Danny); her sisters-in-law, Betty Phelps (Phil) of Florida and Rosemary Draves (Earl); her grandchildren, Taylor Creekmore, Katie Wilson, Holt Smith, Grace Galeski, Brooke Galeski, Hayden Galeski, Cole Galeski and Luke Nax; and her great grandchild Aubree Creekmore.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Rebecca's memory to First Baptist Church in Steeleville, Illinois and memorials are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester.
