He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Milburn and Charlie Hill; his wife Arlene Wells-McDowell; his grandson Ferron; and his siblings, Leslie Hill, Verbal Swisher, Pauline Anheuser, Geraldine Kowzan, Norma Harrell and Billie Casleton.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Dean (Bonnie), Dale Alan (Barb) and Leah Marlene (Kevin); his grandchildren, Deana Hill, Kyle Hill, Nicole Grein (Daniel), Brittany Gerber (Treavor), Lindsay Parker (Brenden), Maddison Kaiser and Shane Caraker (Angie); and his great grandchildren, Taylor Hill (Jayce Cox) and Vance Ellis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
