It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nadine Melba Steele (Steeleville, Illinois), born in Percy, Illinois, who passed away on March 17, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hazel Hadley and John Hadley; her spouse Charles R. Steele; her daughter Judith Leinberger (Donald) of Mesquite, Nevada; her siblings, Jewel Lohr, Arthur Hadley of DeKalb, Illinois, Kenneth Hadley (FloAnn) of Sycamore, Illinois and Robert Hadley; her grandsons, Daniel Leinberger (Alice) of Bethel, Alaska and Marcus Leinberger (Elena) of Kodiak, Alaska; her siblings, John Hadley, Sam Hadley and Shirley Hadley; and her grandson Morgan Aukongak. She was also cherished by twelve great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Steeleville Baptist Church Building Fund or Steeleville American Legion.
