Maxine Goetting Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Goetting of Steeleville, Illinois, born in Percy, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Waltemate and Wilhelmina Huch Waltemate; her husband Carl L. Goetting; her daughter Stacy; and her brother Vilas Waltemate.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Goetting (Susie) of Chester, IL, Todd Goetting (Cindy) of Sidney, IL, Jody Goetting (Deb) of Pinckneyville, IL and Jay Goetting (Angela) of Rochester, MN; her sister Dorothy Bockhorn (Kenneth) of Steeleville; and her sister-in-law Wilma Waltemate of Steeleville. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
By executive order, face masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
Memorials may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran School.
