With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth L. Bockhorn of Steeleville, Illinois, who passed away on February 10, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Bockhorn and Martha Bockhorn (Hogrefe); and his brothers, Marvin, Wayne, Earl and Orville.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bockhorn of Steeleville; his children, Phillip Bockhorn (Vanessa) of Lake Orion, MI, David Bockhorn (Margaret) of Las Vegas, NV and Susan Dierks (Mike) of Steeleville, IL; his grandchildren, Zachary, Eli Dierks, Haley, Casey Bockhorn (Carlos), Palmer McGuire and Sasha Suratos; and his brother Willard Bockhorn (Laverne) of Sparta, IL..

Due to executive order, face masks must be worn, and social distancing guidelines will be followed.

Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.

“Dot, Phil, Dave, Sue and families, we pray God's peace and comfort be with you all. It is never easy nor desired except we now know the suffering is over. Working at the Garage and all the birthdays and Christmases will be fond memories! Thanksgivings out in the woods in Wine Hill were some of the best!
