She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Meier and Ida Meier (Kraus); and her brother Lee Meier. She is survived by: her husband Clarence L. Kurwicki of Steeleville, IL; her children, Deborah Voelkel of Florissant, MO, Patricia Voelkel of Scottsdale, AZ, Steven Voelkel (Lori) of Troy, IL and Tanya Newby of Steeleville, IL; her grandchildren, Jesse Roethemeyer, Haley Roethemeyer, Bristy Voelkel, Chase Newby and Cale Newby; her brother Robert Meier (Phyllis) of Nashville, IL; and her nephew Brian Kurwicki (Jennifer).

Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville.
