He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Smith of Steeleville; his son James M. Smith (Joli) of Steeleville; his grandchildren, Colin Smith (Kaylee), Kyle Smith (Chloe), Cale Faulk and Evan Faulk; his great grandchildren, Charlie Jo, Kam and Kolt; his siblings, Bill Smith (Linda) of Chester and Janet Bollman (Darl) of Steeleville; his sister-in-law Carol Smith of Steeleville; and his children-in-law, Brett Faulk (Kolleen) of O'Fallon, IL and Jennifer Nisbet Smith of St. Charles, MO..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (105 N Garfield St, Steeleville, IL 62288).
Memorials may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
