He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jeffers and Freda Lipe Jeffers; his brothers, Gerald and Bob Jeffers; his great grandchild David Jeffers; and his siblings-in-law, Gene, Leroy, Bill Tope, Robert Levan, Glenn Heiple, Ervin Phoenix, Elden Bryant, Ronald Heiman, Jewell Levan, Beverly Bryant, Norma Jeffers, Hazel Jeffers, Betty Tope, Marie Tope and Katherine Tope.
He is survived by: his wife Zelda June of Steeleville; his sons, Bruce Jeffers (Teresa) of Sparta, Brian Jeffers (Nancy) of Steeleville, Brad Jeffers (Doris) of Steeleville, Jimmy Jeffers (Nancy) of Steeleville and Scott Jeffers of Steeleville; his grandchildren, Shanna Jeffers, Donnie Cavins, Michelle Young (Darren), Douglas Jeffers (Kristina), Jeanette Wright (Tim), Dustin Jeffers (Taylor), Teri Lynn Rice (Jimmie), Cory Jeffers, Brittany Jeffers (Chris), Kayla Lively (Jonathan), Megan Ward (Caleb) and Travis Jeffers (Kelsey); and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Heiple, DeFlain Phoenix and Margie Heiman. He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
