She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Bense and Elsie Bense (Gerberding); her husband Kenneth Craig; her son Lawrence Higgerson (Bud); her great grandchild Emily Kranz; and her siblings, Alva, Wilbert, Junior, Lester, Larry, Raymond Bense, Alberta McKelvey, Sylvia Grah and Dorothea Bense.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Cleland (Jim) of Steeleville, IL and Sharon Mueller (Mike) of Lake Ozark, MO; her daughter-in-law Jeanne Crain-Sorgea of Millstadt, IL.; her grandchildren, John Higgerson, Regina Higgerson Mueller, Lindsay Kranz, Tyler Cleland and Blake Metzger; her great grandchildren, Jermy, Grace, Austin, Karlie, Taelyn, Kellen and Caleb; her sisters, Lucille Dalley, Mildred Jaimet and Zelda Egbert; and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Bense and Jack Grah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
