It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alberta Elizabeth Schremp of Steeleville, Illinois, born in Evansville, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Braun and Frieda Braun (Volkmann); her husband Clifford Schremp; her son David Schremp; her sisters, Helen and Betty; her stepdaughter-in-law Candy Lohman; and her pet Boots.
She is survived by: her children, Richard P. Schremp of Willisville, IL and Lisa Woodside (Jeff) of Steeleville, IL; her stepson Doug Lohman of Chester, IL; her grandchildren, Christine Ledendecker (Jeff), Stephanie Schnocker (Toby Latham), Heather Lunneman, Danielle Schnoeker-Woodside (Wendell Quintana), Andrew Pillar (Sophia Shelton), Andrea Eastwood (Jason), Linda, Mindy Schremp, Christina Houlk (Dustin) and Desuray Kernan (Bill); her brothers, Vernon "Buddy" Braun (Linda) of Sparta, IL and Jerry Braun (Lottie) of Rockwood, IL.; and her daughters, Barbie and Cassy. She is also survived by her twenty-seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
