He is survived by: his children, Alfred and Ida Gausepohl (Hannig); his siblings, Lonnie Page (Sheila) of Decatur, Illinois and Dixie Rucker (Willard) of Decatur, Illinois; his sons, Craig Gausepohl (Angela) of Port Charlotte, Florida and Christopher Gausepohl (Kathleen) of Staunton, Illinois; his grandchildren, Keya Payton (Jason) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kayla Blom (Kyle) of Litchfield, Illinois, Chloe Gausepohl of Tampa, Florida and Sir Winston; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb Crabtree of Litchfield, Illinois and Deklan Blom of Litchfield, Illinois..

At Rich's request, memorials may be directed to Mass offerings for himself at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Staunton or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
