She was predeceased by: her parents, Harland Kimler and Jessie Simmons Kimler; and her husband Ray C. Tarter. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Tarter (Julie) of Channahon and Timothy J. Tarter of Staunton, Illinois; and her grandsons, Jacob and Logan Tarter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
