We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2023, at the age of 88, Nelda Irene Bierbaum of Staunton, Illinois, born in Sorento, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Young and Fairy Young (Bean); and her husband Leroy. She is survived by: her children, Kandy Buzick (Lynn) of Staunton, IL, David Bierbaum (Mary Ellen) of Franklin, IL and Laurie Westerheide of St. Charles, MO; her grandchildren, Maria Bodner (Bobby) of Staunton, IL, Jodee Langer (Frank) of Staunton, IL, Justin Westerheide of St. Charles, MO, Catelynn Whitworth of Wilsonville, IL and Madison Bierbaum of Moro, IL; her great grandchildren, Tyler Finnegan, Bryce Buzick, Bryle Langer, Aaron Bodner, Bryanna Langer and Chase Bodner; and her brothers, Tom Young (Barb) and Alan Young (Rosalie). She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
