He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Monroe and Edna Monroe (Cummins); his former wife Carolyn Monroe (Adler); his brothers, Charles Robert Monroe and Loren Dale Monroe; and his brother-in-law Harold Adler.

He is survived by: his fiancée Mary Adler; his daughter Beverly Jo St (Moe); his grandson Brian Rigsby (Rhonda); his great grandchild Brianna Rigsby; his nieces and nephews, Karra Adler, Loren Monroe (Adrienne), Robin Turner (Dale), Dean Monroe (Kirsten), Rebecca Gould (Joe) and Angela Coursen (Nick); his brother-in-law Bill Adler (Kris); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Johnny Witt (Mary) and Carolyn. He is also survived by 14 great nieces & great nephews, & several step grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Shriners Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
