He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvan Homer Ashley and Violet Vera Ashley-Curtis (Henson); and his sister Vera Levacy. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Odell; his daughters, Leigh Fenton (Sean), Erica Dilliard (Axel), Amanda Adams and Samantha Dierking (Michael); and his siblings, Garland Ashley, Alice Kidd, Linda Wyse (Otto) and Lena Scott. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and 1 great grandchild.
