He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Marquis and Lucille Marquis (Short). He is survived by: his sister Pauline; his brother-in-law Richard Hayes of Staunton; and his brother Richard Marquis of Fort Meyers, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
