It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur H. Yarnik Jr. of Staunton, Illinois, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Yarnik and Margaret Yarnik Sr. (Cailotto); and his brothers, Ron Yarnik and Jerry Yarnik. He is survived by: his wife Norma J. Pervinsek of Michael's Catholic Church; his children, Greg Yarnik (Heidi) of Palatine, IL, Val Buffington (Mark) of Staunton, IL, Tim Yarnik (Yolanda) of Springfield, IL, Phil Yarnik (Shanna) of Frisco, TX and Doug Yarnik (Wendy) of New Douglas, IL; his grandchildren, Paige Buffington (Dino Tsoulis), Brooke Buffington, Eric Yarnik (Connor), Scott Yarnik, Morgan Knodel (Bryan), Rachel Geiger (Brayden), Alexandria Yarnik and Ashleigh Yarnik; and his brother Dennis Yarnik (Gayle). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Memorials are suggested to either St. Michael's Catholic Church of Staunton or to the Staunton Sports Boosters.
