With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan L. Bohlen of Staunton, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry F. Bohlen and Elizabeth Bohlen (Blume); and his brother Larry Lovejoy. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Bohlen of Staunton, IL; his children, Brianna Bohlen of Staunton, IL, Ciara Lutz-Dreyer (Liam) of Richmond Heights, MO and Joshua Bohlen of Staunton, IL; his grandsons, Dominic Kelly and Wesley Lutz-Dreyer; and his siblings, Georgianna Lorenz of Mt. Olive, IL, Shirley Bohm of Loganville, GA, Linda Clark (William) of Onalaska, WA and Eric Bohlen (Becky) of Staunton, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Homes, Ltd. (108 W Henry St, Staunton, IL 62088). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to either the Ronald McDonald House of St. Louis, MO, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, or to the family.
