He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Ellena and Jean Ellena of Standard, IL.; and his sister Delores. He is survived by: his wife Shirley of Standard; his children, Sheryl Emmerling (Terry) of Granville, Janet Cimei (Steven) of LaSalle, John Ellena (Ashley) of Standard and Robert Ellena (Jennifer) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Nathan, Brianna, Morgan, Spencer, Aaron, Taylor, Hannah, Joseph, Gianna, Caden and Gino; his great grandchildren, Shane, Aubrey, Greyson, Sloane, Salem and Kayleigh; and his brother-in-law Stanley Shevokas Jr. of Granville.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Standard Fire and Rescue and Putnam County Community Center.
