He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burris and Nonia Burris; and his son W. Ray Burris Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Edith A. Burris (Harbarth); his sons, Mike Burris (Dawn) and Kris Burris (Tina Nutaut); his daughter-in-law Brenda Burris; his grandsons, Justin and Cory; and his sister Flora Piper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Almost Home Rescue.
