He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin G. Edwards and Hazel Edwards (Symons); and his son William Alvin Edwards, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Joy Edwards, Lee Edwards and Michelle Edwards; his grandchildren, Aaron Edwards, Devin Edwards, Orion Edwards, Rick Hanan, Jory Siebenmorgan, Reiner Edwards, Alan Edwards, Emily Foreman, Kaley Lutker and Maggie Stevens; and his brother Glen Edwards. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
