Wilfred Charles Partridge III Obituary
Wilfred Charles "Chuck" Partridge III, 65, of Springfield, IL passed away at 11:59pm on Tuesday February 7, 2023.
He was born in Washington, D.C. on February 23, 1957 and was the son of Wilfred Harry Partridge and Dorothy Marie (Saunders) Mahar.
He started his State of IL career with the Office of the Governor James R. Thompson Administration and ending with the IL State Police / Dept. of Corrections.
Chuck always figured out a way when there was no way. Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, archery, knives, mechanics and carpentry. He loved to teach his children and grandchildren. Chuck was the "Go To" person for anyone that had a problem. He also had a very subtle sarcasm that he inherited from his mother.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randolph Partridge.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Richele; father to and of Brian (Kara) and Alexander (Taylor); father of Jenny (Mikie) and Brandon. He was grandfather to Canon, Cholë, Cade, Melody, Landon, Michael, Anthony, Allison, Dakota, and Bryton; brother to Bruce Partridge, Robert (Mary) Partridge and Wendy Koehler. Chuck is also survived and loved by several nieces and nephews and Kayla.
Cremation services are be accorded by Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home of Springfield, IL.
