He is survived by: his son Myles Alexander (Sarah) of Springfield, IL; his siblings, Rosemary Brown, April Marion (Gerald), Grover Marion of Holly Springs, MS, James Marion of Holly Springs, MS, Terry Marion (Joy) of Markham, IL, Erich Marion and Danny Marion (Sheliah) of Aurora, IL; his close friend Cecelia Ursin of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Gianna, Abraham and Hezekiah Alexander; and his friend Barbara Pryor (family: Amber St. Clair, Annise Francis, Issaac Francis Jr.). He is also survived by Eight nieces and ten nephews; Several great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Union Baptist Church (1405 E Monroe St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery.
