He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Starkey and Catherine Starkey (Dodd); and his daughter Suzanne Starkey. He is survived by: his son Curtis Starkey (Katarina) of Taipei, Taiwan; his granddaughter Iris; and his brother Rex Starkey (Amanda) of Glen Carbon. He is also survived by one niece, two nephews and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
