The memory of Walter J. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter R. Schadow and Alice V. Schadow; and his siblings, William Schadow, Charles Schadow, Robert Schadow, Jeannie Heffron and Connie Lorscheider.

He is survived by: his children, Christine Fritsky (Keith) of Wilmington, DE, Lisa Crowder (James) of St. Louis, MO and Michael Schadow (Andrea) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Jessica Schadow, Nicholas Elliott, Jarek Crowder, Jackson Crowder, Cole Fritsky, Bianca Fritsky of Alexander, Spencer Schadow, ViviAnn Schadow and Viktor Schadow; his great grandchildren, Stacey, Jade, Silas, Emilia, Courtlynn and Clover; and his siblings, Alice (Ken), Margie Albietz (Tom) of Springfield and Rex Schadow of Springfield.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mary Ann Schadow (for the benefit of granddaughter ViviAnn).
