He is survived by: his wife Alma Pierce of Springfield, IL; his children, Mark Pierce (Deborah) of Springfield, IL and Jean Mees (David) of Fishers, IN; his sisters, Zula Hampson and Rita Floyd; and his grandchildren, Martha Pierce of Castle Rock, CO, Hannah Thompson (Isaiah) of Oskaloosa, IA, Jonathan Pierce of Castle Rock, CO, Sarah Easley (Ben) of Beech Grove, IN, Andrew Mees of Fishers, IN and Rachel Mees of Fishers, IN. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
