With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Carroll Eaton (Springfield, Illinois), who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Eaton and Venita Lawrence Eaton. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Erna Brauer Keenan; and his pet Purple Martins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was very proud of his contribution to and travels in the African continent.
