He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur E. Eyre and Zella R. Sheppard Eyre; and his sister Donna Jean Eyre. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn R. Eyre of Springfield; his children, Beth Degenhart of Colorado Springs, CO and David Eyre (Cathy); his stepchildren, Karen Greene (Jon) of Bethesda, MD, Lisa Seitz (Ken) of Grand Junction, CO, William H. Chamberlain, Jr. (Sharon) of Lincolnshire, IL and Robert J. Chamberlain (Laura) of Naperville; his grandchildren, Justin Degenhart (Sara), Kristin Yelinek (Derek) and Vincent Eyre; and his stepgrandchildren, Caroline Greene, Drennan Greene, Agnes Chamberlain, Henry Chamberlain, Judd Chamberlain, Reid Chamberlain, Audrey Chamberlain, Gina Head and Jacob Head. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several cousins.
