She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Ray and Artie Watkins Ray; and her husband James I. McCandless. She is survived by: her sons, Gary McCandless (Linda) of Springfield and Marty McCandless (Shirley) of Petersburg; her grandchildren, Courtney McCandless, Kendra Conser (Joe), Melissa Blair (Joel) and Sarah Oglesby (C. J.); her great grandchildren, Emma, Lucas, Cole Conser, Harper and Lincoln McCandless; her stepgrandchildren, Dianna Tebrugge, Reginald Black and Thomas Black; and her stepgreat-grandson Jack Oglesby.
