It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tyre W. Rees of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Rees and Alma M. Rees (Durham); his daughter Kristin M. Rees; his siblings, George T. Rees and Sondra Rees Barnes; and his brother-in-law Mark Kerber.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelsey Rees (Major Caryn Shermetaro); his siblings, Karen Kerber and Thomas Rees (Johnyne); and his sister-in-law Mary Anne Brooks Rees. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
