Though Twyla may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Twyla leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Letz and Blanche Letz (Brown) of Cantrall, IL.; and her husband James L. Saffer. She is survived by: her children, Perry Saffer (Debra) of St. Charles, MO and Carla Lucie (Mitch) of Hendersonville, TN; and her sister Janet Daniels of Springfield. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Step Women's Center or Lake Springfield Christian Assembly.
