It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J. Brinker Jr. of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lou and Thomas Brinker. He is survived by: his children, Lillie M. Brinker, Bernadette Gordon and Cardell Spencer; his grandchildren, Brandon Terrell, Cherrelle, Charnelle "Nikki" Brinker and Quanisha McAllister; his great grandchildren, Brandon, Bryan, Bryce, Brooke, Bravion Ware and Aniya "Coogie" Wells; his sisters, Bernice Thomas, Nadine McGregory, Lucretia Warren and Dorthy Webb; and his brother-in-law Harold Gardner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
