He is survived by: his wife Suzanna Preckwinkle (Smith); his sister Karen Lawless (Preckwinkle) of Springfield; his children, Amy Shepherd of Nashville, Sarah Kaisner (Daton) of Springfield and James Preckwinkle (Emily) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Ian Kaisner, Wesley Preckwinkle, Gracie Kaisner, Elliot Kaisner and Molly Preckwinkle; his nephew Ryan Lawless (Colleen); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sydney and Reese.
