Stephen Charles Dillman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Charles Dillman of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Stephen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Stephen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ray Dillman and Marion Lee Dillman (Ward); his son Stephen Daniel Ray Dillman; and his brothers, Donald Dillman and Melvin Dillman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Renae Knorr (Tim) of Decatur, Barbara Sue Neeley of Decatur and Amanda Rose Dillman of Argenta; and his brothers, Mike Dillman (Ramonita), Scott Dillman, Lynn Dillman, Jeremy Dillman and Gary Shawn Dillman (Sara). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Et Moran & Goebel Funeral Home (2801 N Monroe St, Decatur, IL 62526).
