We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2024, at the age of 77, Sarah E (Warnke) Hardy of Springfield, Illinois, born in Palestine, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Warnke and Sarah Warnke (McNutt); and her brother John Warnke. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Mitchell (Michael) of Pleasant Plains and Amanda Kim of Springfield; her grandchildren, Ryanne Obertino (Kyle) of Austin, TX, McKenna Day of Peoria, Doug Mitchell (Taylor) of Lexington, KY, Ben Mitchell (Simona) of Grand Junction, CO, Carter Kim of Springfield and Spencer Kim of Springfield; her brother Art Warnke (Karen) of Chatham; and her in-laws, Larry Hardy of New Berlin and Susan DeWitt (Ed) of Georgia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson Park Funeral Home - Rochester (200 E Main St, Rochester, IL 62563). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
