It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kay Miles of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Sandra Kay departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sandra Kay. Though Sandra Kay may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mayberry and Sarah Kathryn Mayberry (Caulk); her husband W. Paul Miles; and her sisters, JoAnn Parker and Karen Spurgeon.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Miles (Michelle) and Scott Miles (Breanne Larson); her grandchildren, Jack Miles, Natalie Miles, Madison Miles and Braden Larson; and her brother Bill Mayberry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home (437 S Grand Ave W, Springfield, IL 62704).
