He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Madonia and Frances Sgro Madonia; his wife Frances Gum; and his siblings, Rosalie Guarella, Mary Nestler, Vincent, Frank, Andrea and John Madonia.
He is survived by: his close friend Maria Haynes of Springfield; his sisters, Lucia Midiri of Springfield, Nena Rothe of St. Louis, MO, Josephine Romang of Springfield, Theresa Nicastro of St. Louis, MO and Margaret Passeri of Naples, FL; and his sisters-in-law, Roseanne Madonia of Bloomington and Sandra Madonia of Naples, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
