He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis and Irene Hovermale (Stevens); his daughter Kimberly Rogers; and his brother-in-law Harold Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Donna Hovermale (Taylor); his son Todd Hovermale (Patricia) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Mallory Billings-Litke (Wendy), MacKenzie Murray (Jack), Georgia, Grace, John, Andrew, Michael and Jack; his great grandchild Malcolm; his siblings, Karen Holmes, Rita Roan (Larry) and John Hovermale (Ginny); and his son-in-law Troy Rogers (Laura). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
