We bid farewell to Ronald Laverne Pratt of Springfield, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 16, 2025 at the age of 90. Ronald Laverne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Pratt and Evelyn Pratt (Kaufman); and his wife Mary J. Schultz. He is survived by: his children, Susan T. Pratt-Roth of Springfield and Michael V. Pratt (Jackie) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Hayley, Cameron and Brayden Pratt; his pet Dixie; and his extended family, Vicki, Ed, Tabitha, Shane, Ray, Donovan Kennedy and Sherri Layendecker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Boardman Smith Funeral Home (800 S Grand Ave W, Springfield, IL 62704). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
