He is survived by: his wife Annabel Cookson of Springfield; his sons, Douglas Dane Cookson (Sherrie) of Springfield, Rodger Louis Cookson (Kellie) of Springfield and Jason Turner Cookson of Springfield; his grandchildren, Ashley DeLuca (John), Jaron Cookson (Rachael), Dane Michael Cookson (Katherine), Ryan Cookson (Stephanie), Nicholas Cranwill, Cole Cookson (Mikayla Hamlin), Menna Cookson, Emily Chandra, Tristin Cookson and Isabella Cookson (Trent Mulligan); and his siblings, James Cookson (Libby) of St. Charles, MO and Lessly Sharpe (Greg) of Quincy, IL.. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
