He is survived by: his wife Linda Lawson of Springfield; his daughter Elizabeth Slater (Tony) of Hannibal, MO; his stepchildren, Bill Lyon (Sharon) of Clarendon Hills, IL and Natalie Van Kanegan (Tim) of Bloomington, IL; his grandchildren, Thomas Slater, Anna Wehbe (Rami), Gavin Van Kanegan and Katelyn Lyon; and his siblings, Jim Lawson (Gina) and Joyce Lawson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
