She is survived by: her children, James Elroy Johnson, Sr. of Decatur, IL and Shatriya Smith (Eli) of Springfield, IL; her sisters, Berlinda Thomas, Ann Logan of Springfield, Ethel Johnson of Chicago, IL and Dorothea Brooks (Julius) of Columbus, OH.; her grandchildren, Chris Williams, Zachary Williams of Springfield, IL, Jamya A. Johnson of Dallas, TX, James Elroy Johnson, Jr. of Decatur, IL and Aviahna Bernardoni (Boris) of Springfield, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Artie Vie Logan of Springfield, IL and Onethia Wynn Logan (Opie) of Stone Mountain, GA..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy City Missionary Baptist Church (1601 E Carpenter St, Springfield, IL 62702). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
