She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall L. Wainwright and Arlene J. Duncan Wainwright. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Rae Dowis (Craig Moreland) of Chatham, Katie Dowis (Adam Rade) of Rochester and Matthew Dowis (Sonja) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Charlotte Moreland, Nolan and Mina Rade; her siblings, Brenda Bohlen of Springfield, Marshall Wainwright (Suzanne) of Springfield and Nicholas Wainwright of Riverton; and her pets, Delilah, Sampson, Rose, Ellie and Boo Radley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mini-O'Beirne Crisis Nursery.
