Green of Springfield, Illinois, born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred J. Green and Ethel E. Stettes Green; his son Jeff Green; and his brothers, Fred J. and Allen L. Green.
He is survived by: his children, Robert K. Green (Patricia) of Crown Point, IN, John "Mark" Green (Nancy) of Nashua, NH, Richard W. Green of Springfield, Susan K. Boehler (Michael) of Springfield, Greg W. Green (Nicki) of Bloomington and David J. Green (Brigette) of Wilmore, KY; his daughter-in-law Charlene Green; and his sister-in-law Thelma Green. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Side Christian Church.
