He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Veara and Maxine Veara (Kelly). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Veara of Springfield; his children, Kevin Veara (Amy Denny), Kerrie Bondi (James) and Kristina Lawley (James); his grandchildren, Abby Bailey (Jeremy), Robert Lawley (Allison), Elizabeth Bondi-Kelly (Jonathan) and Anna Bondi (Guillermo Miguez Ortega); and his great grandchildren, Mia Bailey and Lily Kelly.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Butler Funeral Home – Springfield (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Bob may be made to the Animal Protective League.
