He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Fernandes and Mary Ellen Geddes. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Wiersma of Springfield; his daughter Jennifer Lynn Hartman of Huachuca City, AZ.; his sister Barb Banning (Garry Thomas) of Springfield; and his nieces and nephews, Tony Wiersma (Amy) of Springfield, Judi Buckner of Lake Villa, IL., Ellen Quade of Wentzville, MO. and Jay Banning (Kendra) of Springfield. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two great nephews and three great-nieces.
