It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert K. Flesner of Springfield, Illinois, born in Tower Hill, Illinois, who passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kobus H. Flesner and Clara E. Flesner (King); his wife Frances Marlene Hudson; his daughter Karen Flesner; his great grandchild Finneas Robert Flesner; and his brothers, Ralph, Ross and Ray Flesner.
He is survived by: his sons, Bradley K. Flesner (Kathy) of O'Fallon, MO and Michael E. Flesner (Ida) of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Bailey Kimball (Christopher) of Phenix City, AL, Sterling Flesner of Springfield, IL, Michael Houser (Deanna) of O'Fallon, MO, Andrew Flesner (Tricia) of Columbia, MO and Stephanie Dopplick (John) of Hillsboro, MO; and his great grandchildren, Brittany Pierce (Brian), Emily, Christopher Houser, Lilly Dopplick and Thea Kimball.
Memorials may be given to the Shelby County Honor Guard.
