He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Houston and Ruby Emma Curtis Edwards; his great grandchildren, Cooper Riley Edwards and Emerson Workman; and his siblings, Dorothy Campbell, Hubert and Jerry Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Edwards of Springfield; his children, Robert "Bob" G. Jr. Edwards (Denise) of Springfield, Sherri Kavish (James) of Springfield and Dean A. Edwards (April) of Lonedale, MO; and his grandchildren, Amanda Workman (Heath), Jessica Davis (Craig), Donovan Kavish (Ljubica), Nicholas Kavish (Shannon), Lindsey Kavish and Brennan King of Dean. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
