He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Alewelt and Goldie Bell Alewelt (Atterberry); his wife Elizabeth Oger (Betty); and his siblings, Joseph, Bernard, James Alewelt, Mary Lou Sabo and Margery Walton.
He is survived by: his sons, George C. (Donna) of Auburn, Thomas (Pennie) of Cave Creek, AZ, Michael D. of Springfield, Ron (Karen) of Chatham and Alan (Julie) of Hendersonville, TN; his grandchildren, Ashley Eubank (Noah), Kyle Alewelt (Catie), Rylee Carrigan (Danny) and Connor Alewelt; and his siblings-in-law, Noreeda Alewelt and Steve Walton. He is also survived by two great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters.
